Dominik Büchel

After attending schools in St. Gallen and Basel, Dominik Büchel, who was born in 1963, studied economics at the University of Basel. After graduating, he held a research position for three years at the Institute for Local, Regional and National Planning at ETH Zurich. He then worked for four years as an environmental economist in the Construction Department of the canton of Basel-Stadt before becoming a partner in the communications agency, Locher, Brauchbar & Partner. Dominik Büchel manages commissions in the fields of politics and society, social security, the environment and spatial planning, as well as in research and education. He also takes on moderating duties.
