Adrian Heuss appointed Implementation Officer for NRP 63

Research under National Research Programme 63, which focuses on stem cells and regenerative medicine, will begin in January 2010. The Research Council of the Swiss National Science Foundation has elected Adrian Heuss as the Implementation Officer for this NRP. The programme will run for five years and has a budget of CHF 10 million. It will focus primarily on basic research and aims to increase the international visibility of stem cell research carried out in Switzerland.
